Delivery Policy

1. Delivery Service

Dunns Imaging Group Ltd ("we", "our", "us") offers collection and delivery services for photographic products and related materials on behalf of our customers. Deliveries may be undertaken using our own vehicles or trusted third-party courier services.

2. Delivery Times

Delivery dates and times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Whilst we will use all reasonable endeavours to deliver within the agreed timescale, we shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic congestion, adverse weather, vehicle breakdown, courier delays, industrial action, or force majeure.

3. Customer Instructions

It is the customer's responsibility to provide accurate delivery addresses, recipient details, and any special delivery instructions at the time of booking.

Additional charges may apply where deliveries fail due to incorrect information or where re-delivery is required.

4. Transfer of Risk

Risk in the goods passes to the customer (or their nominated recipient) upon delivery to the delivery address or collection point.

Where goods are left in accordance with the customer's written instructions, delivery shall be deemed complete and the goods shall thereafter remain entirely at the customer's risk.

5. Inspection of Goods

Customers should inspect all deliveries immediately upon receipt.

Any shortages, damage, or delivery discrepancies must be reported to us within:

We will exercise reasonable care in handling and transporting all goods.

However, our liability for any loss of or damage to goods whilst in transit shall be limited to the lesser of:

Standard delivery charges do not include transit insurance.

Customers requiring additional cover for high-value consignments must request this before dispatch. Additional charges may apply.

8. Third-Party Couriers

Where delivery is carried out by an independent courier, we act as the customer's agent in arranging transportation.

Whilst we will only use reputable carriers, we cannot accept responsibility for delays or losses arising from the actions or omissions of third-party couriers beyond the limits set out in these Terms.

9. Failed Deliveries

Where delivery cannot be completed because:

any additional storage, return or re-delivery costs will be payable by the customer.

10. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our delivery obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

11. Claims

Any claim relating to delivery must be submitted in writing together with supporting evidence, including photographs where appropriate.

We reserve the right to inspect damaged goods before any settlement is agreed.

12. Governing Law

These Delivery Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

13. Safe Place & Unattended Deliveries

Where the customer requests that goods are left in a safe place, on a doorstep, with a neighbour, or at any other unattended location, the customer accepts that delivery is deemed complete once the goods have been left in accordance with those instructions.

From that point, all risk of loss, theft or damage passes to the customer. Dunns Imaging Group Ltd accepts no liability for goods that are subsequently lost, stolen or damaged after delivery has been completed in accordance with the customer's instructions.

Where photographic evidence or delivery confirmation is provided by our driver or appointed courier showing that the goods were delivered to the agreed location, this shall constitute proof of delivery.
